Organizational Productivity Workshop

A Roadmap for Successful Management

Productivity is difficult to measure, but it can and should be measured. It’s step one towards continuous improvement.  It's also very important to do a thorough analysis of your organization's productivity challenges before investing in training programs that might overlook the highest impact improvement opportunities.

Productivity increases when either the value of your organization’s output or the efficiency to achieve the output increases. Nearly all organizations can achieve a 10-20% increase in efficiency, and the cost of inefficiency is very high typically in the range of $10,000 to $50,000 annually per business professional, taking into account the fully loaded cost of labor.

First, we'll break down the definition of productivity into practical, measurable elements that your managers will use for ongoing improvement.  Then, we'll look comprehensively at the many factors that affect productivity and analyze your situation so you can focus your productivity improvement efforts in the areas that will have greatest impact.  We will assess your organization's productivity against best practices and our proprietary rating system.

The outcome will identify specific opportunities to increase efficiency, opportunities for cost reductions, improved product quality, faster project cycle times, and priorities for further education and training.  This workshop and the subsequent improvement efforts can pay for themselves many times over.
